The new fine art documentary, ROBERT RAUSCHENBERG'S GOLDEN GILDER, reveals a little-known prolific, decade-long collaboration and creative friendship between one of the top American artists of the 20th century and his gilder.

The film visually explores the context, technique, and unconventional application of gold in contemporary art and specifically by the famous multi-disciplinary master.

Rauschenberg's pioneering experimentation with this ancient craft resulted in fascinating and lasting works of modern art, including THE 1/4 MILE, one of the largest individual paintings ever produced.

This documentary will entertain both, the general public and the art world. Not only for its gorgeous aesthetics and elevated beauty, but also because we will feature several original Rauschenberg pieces that he specifically created for his gilder and have not been shared publicly yet.
